European Commission Logo Font

The European Commissionis the executive branch of the European Union responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, and managing the day-to-day business of the EU. It is composed of one commissioner from each EU member state, appointed by the member states in consultation with the President of the Commission.

The EC logo has two key elements: the European flag and a graphic inspired by the Commission's headquarters. The logo is accompanied by a wordmark in Square Sans Medium typeface from Parachute. Square Sans Pro, created by Panos Vassiliou, is a squarish typeface that balances simplicity with vitality and includes 12 fonts with true italics.
