The New York Comic Con is an annual comic book and pop culture convention held in New York City, attracting hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world to celebrate and discover the latest in comic books, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, toys, movies, and television.

The logo was created with Banco, a capital letter only font designed by French designer Roger Excoffon in 1952. Phill Grimshaw later added lowercase letters and a lighter weight to Banco.
