Soul Surfer is a 2011 American biographical film directed by Sean McNamara, based on the 2004 autobiography Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton. The film tells the inspirational story of how Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm in a shark attack, overcame all odds and became a champion again.

The Soul Surfer film's title in the poster is probably set in Geogrotesque Bold Italic. Geogrotesque is a semi-modular typeface with a subtly rounded edge, designed by Spanish designer Eduardo Manso.
