The Baby Experiment Font

The Baby Experiment is a historical fiction novel by the Canadian writer Anne Dublin. In the 18th century Germany, Johanna, a 14-year-old Jewish girl, gets a job as a caregiver in an orphanage where a secret experiment is being carried out that results in the death of babies. After deciding to kidnap one of the orphans, Johanna travels to Amsterdam and faces many dangers along her journey.

Birmingham Elongated is the font used for the book title on the cover. Paul Lloyd created the retro-style typeface family called Birmingham. The author's name on the book cover is written in a serif font Copperplate Gothic, created by Frederic W. Goudy around 1900s.
