Doors is a legendary American band formed in 1965 in Los Angeles, California. Jim Morrison, the group's frontman, is an iconic figure in the music industry and one of the most popular rock groups in history. They released a total of six albums during their career, including "Strange Days" (1967) and "L.A. Woman" (1971).
One of the most famous band logos is the Doors' famous logo, which first appeared on their self-titled debut album and then on their 1968 album Waiting for the Sun. It uses straightforward geometric shapes and reflected double O letters to create a simple, edgy look. The little but crucial "the" in Art Nouveau style may be seen in the upper left corner of the logo. Geometric "doors" lettering is similar to Typodermic's Densmore font. You can use the font for free, but it only comes in lowercase. You can download the font for free in the Fonts Used Section. Their album covers have featured several different logos since then, the cover of the 1971 album L.A. Woman features a rounded and plump Cooper Black.
and then we see an ultra-thin geometric style typeface on the cover of Other Voices, released in October 1971.
and eventually, a copperplate gothic for their title on the cover of An American Prayer, the last studio album.
