Tumblr is a microblogging and social networking platform where users can post multimedia content and interact with others through likes, reblogs, and comments. It was founded in 2007 and acquired by Automattic in 2019.

The logo of Tumblr was created using a font similar to Bookman Old Style Bold, which is a commercial typeface and can be purchased here.

In 2014, Tumblr slightly modified its logotype by removing the serif from the letter "u" and adding a more pronounced ball terminal to the letter "r".
