Sneaker Freaker is a magazine that covers the world of sneakers and sneaker culture. It was founded in 2002 by Australian journalist and sneaker enthusiast Simon Wood. The magazine features articles on sneaker releases, design, history, and culture, as well as interviews with industry insiders, collectors, and celebrities.

Base 12 Serif Bold is the font style used for the magazine's logo on the cover. The Base typeface was created by Zuzana Licko in 1995 as screen fonts for Emigre's website. Later on, a companion printer typeface was added to the font family.
